This location is a new one and is pretty close to the beach in Redondo Beach. On this visit, I tried the Ruby ramen.
What makes Rakkan unique is that their broth is all vegetables. This tends to make it a bit sweeter, than say compared to a pork broth. This also makes it friendly for all your vegan friends. They can adjust all the ramen bowls with or without meat toppings.
The Ruby ramen is a miso ramen that has pork and shrimp added to it. Miso is my favorite style and was really looking forward to digging into it.
