This is the third location Rakkan has in LA. I’ve written about the other locations here and here. This location is my favorite. It’s literally across the street from the Santa Monica Pier.
Rakkan is known for their broth. It’s unique because they use vegetables and olive oil to create their broth. They take their craft seriously. Check out their site.
This is the garnet ramen from Rakkan. What I love about this bowl is that the broth is really flavorful and satisfying, and yet doesn’t overwhelm you.

I love how you can see the oils on the surface. See those little bubbles? That’s a really good sign.
