Hirauchi Soba @ Kazan in Beverly Hills

I’m starting off 2020 with a full flavor explosion at Kazan. Kazan is a new shop that has taken a laser focus to crafting unique bowls of noodles. They are doing flavorful broths and making their noodles in house as they need.

Kazan literally means “volcano”. Here, it implies an explosion of flavor. They aren’t lying about that for sure.

Their noodle machine is out front.
A little history lesson.
Their menu. This may change after they’ve been open for a while. They want to focus during their soft opening so they’ve kept the menu limited.
This is #3 on their menu. It’s their original hibachi soba noodle in a creamy and rich broth. Served with chashu pork and homemade wontons.
Up close you can see that homemade wonton bathing in the delicious creamy broth. This bowl had a buttery flavor to it. Rich but not heavy.
crushed it.

You may have noticed that the prices for these bowls seems a little steep. Yea, that’s Beverly Hills folks. Just accept it. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with anything that you order here. The broths were really flavorful and really unique to the LA area. There is nothing like it around. The inside is really classy and modern.
