This chicken ramen is delicious. The broth is light and flavorful. They add roasted chicken breast chashu, deep fried onions, cooked bamboo shoots, hard boiled egg, and green onion. This is all served up with hard and thin noodles.
My only gripe with Venice Ramen is their egg. I understand soft boiled eggs aren’t for everyone. I’d prefer not to have an egg at all if it’s the hard yellow chalky center that is served here. On the subject of eggs, a recently published article by a fellow ramenhead Mike Satinover (aka Ramen Lord on Reddit) speaks about this chalky yolk texture here.
Look at that broth. It looks crystal clear. It’s like pure heaven.
